Support residents at The Barrieview Retirement Residence through responsive care, relationship building, and courteous daily service. This existing vacancy is with Sienna Senior Living.
As a Resident Attendant, you will understand residents’ living experiences and build relationships with them and their families. You will provide care outlined in assignments, support daily health and well-being, and contribute to the home’s culture. The work includes responding to calls, transportation, housekeeping, laundry, and food service.
Key Responsibilities: Answer resident call bells and door alarms promptly
Complete resident care according to care plans and assignments
Transport residents to activities, dining, rooms, and health office
Complete assigned laundry and housekeeping duties
Practice protected food handling during preparation and service
Requirements: Minimum six months’ experience in a similar role
Current First Aid and CPR training
Excellent verbal and written English skills
Personal Support Worker or Personal Care Worker certification preferred
Successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
