Overview: working hours from 7 am to 10.am or 10.30 am

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sushi Maker to prepare fresh, high-quality sushi and support smooth daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in careful food preparation, works well in a fast-paced environment, and helps create a welcoming dining experience through consistent food quality and service.

Responsibilities

- Prepare sushi, rolls, and related menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Handle ingredients safely, including washing, cutting, portioning, and storing food.
- Complete meal preparation tasks and keep ingredients fresh and properly organized.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures, including maintaining clean workstations and equipment.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service team members to fulfill orders accurately and promptly.
- Support serving and food service needs as required, while maintaining a courteous, qualified approach.




- Monitor ingredient levels and notify the appropriate team member when supplies need replenishing.
- Follow kitchen procedures and help maintain an orderly, safe work environment.

Qualifications

- Food preparation, cooking, and food handling skills; sushi-making experience is a plus.
- Food service, restaurant, kitchen, or broader food industry experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, or willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent quality and presentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly in a busy kitchen.
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable standing for extended periods and completing routine kitchen tasks.

Pay: $20.50-$24.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
