The position provides general administration, clerical, financial accounting, and data entry support. Duties follow Government of the Northwest Territories and departmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Provide administration and clerical support to highway operations
Support South Slave regional maintenance camps and staff
Perform financial accounting duties accurately and efficiently
Complete timely data entry and maintain orderly records




Apply GNWT policies and departmental procedures
Requirements: High school diploma and post-secondary accounting or financial management education
Three to five years accounting or budgeting experience
Experience working in a computerized workplace
Knowledge of financial planning, budget development, and analysis
Ability to organize time and meet deadlines
Support highway operations in Hay River through accounting, budgeting, administration, analysis, and accurate computerized data entry.
