Support bariatric and gastrointestinal patients as a Dietitian I at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, using nutrition assessment and education. This position is eligible for hybrid work within Alberta.
You will support the Bariatric Specialty Clinic and Gastrointestinal Specialty Clinic, focusing on cirrhosis. Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will assess clients, develop nutrition care plans, and provide individual or group support. Care may occur in person, by phone, or virtually.
Key Responsibilities: Assess clients across bariatric and gastrointestinal specialty clinics
Educate clients about nutrition, health, and disease prevention
Develop, implement, and evaluate nutrition care plans
Provide individual and group care through available methods




Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clinic processes
Requirements: Bachelor of Science majoring in Foods and Nutrition
Dietitians of Canada accredited internship or practicum completion
Active or eligible College of Dietitians of Alberta registration
Excellent communication and time management skills
High degree of initiative
Apply nutrition expertise, client education, and cooperative care skills within Red Deer’s bariatric and gastrointestinal specialty clinics.
