Install underground utility systems at Agnico Eagle’s Detour Lake Mine while supporting ventilation, dewatering, and safe workplace operations. Work follows a 14/14 schedule.
Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, Underground, you will support the Underground Mine Operations Department under direction. The work includes maintaining service systems, underground infrastructure, and supplied workplaces. You will help achieve operational goals while respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and environmental responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair underground utility and service systems
Support underground ventilation and dewatering operations
Construct barricades, work platforms, and underground infrastructure




Operate underground support equipment and service vehicles
Inspect workplaces and equipment while maintaining housekeeping
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core or required training ability
Valid driver’s license
Commitment to protected work, reliability, and following instructions
Ability to work rotating shifts in a remote mine environment
Bring underground service, equipment operation, teamwork, and safety skills to support production at Agnico Eagle’s Detour Lake Mine.
