Operate mowers, tractors, and landscaping equipment as a Parks Operator with the City of Windsor. This regular full time position requires shift work.
Within Parks, Recreation and Facilities, you will maintain parks, grounds, playgrounds, sport fields, picnic areas, and facilities. The work includes equipment operation, property maintenance, truck driving, and public assistance. You will also complete logs, inspections, and routine maintenance.
Key Responsibilities: Operate mowers, tractors, and small landscaping equipment
Maintain playgrounds, sport fields, picnic areas, and facilities
Drive Class A, B, or C trucks as necessary
Complete equipment checks, repairs, logs, and forms
Assist park users and monitor Parks By-Laws
Requirements: Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalency
One year of equipment operation or property maintenance experience
Valid Class G Driver's Licence and driver's abstract
Ability to work shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays
Occupational Health and Safety Act knowledge
Apply equipment operation, grounds maintenance, and public service skills across City of Windsor parks and facilities.
