Alberta Health Services seeks a Food Service I for its Food Services program. You will prepare, portion, package, and serve food according to menus, standards, and procedures. The work supports patient, resident, staff, visitor, and community meal service through accurate organization and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, handle, portion, and package food and beverages
Assemble kitchen trays and deliver patient meals
Pick up meal trays from patients and residents
Operate and clean industrial food service equipment safely
Clean and sanitize dishes, tables, and serving areas
Requirements: Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 46 pounds
Ability to push and pull meal carts up to 250 pounds
Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
