Nixa Public Schools seeks an Elementary Classroom Teacher for Grades K-6. The teacher will implement Readers' Workshop, Writers' Workshop, Math Workshop, and flexible small groups. The position emphasizes Missouri Learning Standards, research-based instruction, technology integration, classroom organization, and positive stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, instruct, and assess district curriculum
Maintain classroom organization and management
Implement Readers' Workshop, Writers' Workshop, and Math Workshop

Participate in career development and grade-level meetings
Requirements: Current Missouri Elementary Education B-3 or 1-6 certification
Knowledge of Missouri Learning Standards

Interest in PLCs and Response to Intervention
Successful background check and drug test
