Review municipal engineering plans and reports as a Development Review Technician with the City of Brantford, supported by a hybrid work environment.
Reporting to the Project Manager, Development, you will assist the Development Engineering Division with minor development applications. The work involves site plans, municipal infrastructure, storm water management, road design, and urban planning processes. You will also represent the City during meetings.
Key Responsibilities: Review technical site plan submissions for regulatory compliance
Comment on severances, rezonings, and minor variances
Coordinate municipal infrastructure with adjacent developments
Review residential plot plans for infill developments




Maintain databases and update technical development standards
Requirements: Two-year Civil Engineering Technician diploma or equivalent
Three years’ engineering design experience in municipal servicing
C.Tech designation or ability to obtain designation
Knowledge of municipal infrastructure and Provincial regulations
Valid driver’s license in valuable standing
Apply technical review, infrastructure knowledge, and planning expertise to development engineering work serving Brantford’s growing community.
