Operate combo plow units for Miller Maintenance, using safe snow removal practices and route knowledge during Ontario winter events. Respond to storm call-ins within thirty minutes.
As a Snow Plow Operator, you will support Ministry of Transportation maintenance contracts throughout Ontario. You will explicit local roads and highways under Shift Supervisor and Patroller direction while applying contract requirements. The work also includes loader operation, documentation, equipment care, and minor repairs.
Key Responsibilities: Safely operate combo plow units on roads and highways
Perform snow removal according to contract requirements
Maintain fuel, safety, and hours-of-service documentation
Clean equipment and complete routine maintenance tasks
Apply route maps and sand or salt rates
Requirements: Hold a DZ or AZ license with clean abstract and CVOR
Respond to call-ins within thirty minutes
Operate loaders and perform other maintenance duties
Work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended winter shifts
Work safely in extreme weather conditions
Bring safe driving, equipment maintenance, and winter operations skills to Miller’s Ontario road maintenance team.
