Monitor ECG and hemodynamics as a Casual Cardiovascular Technologist with Fraser Health at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, B.C. Support invasive cardiac procedures.
This Cardiovascular Technologist position supports the Cath Lab team under manager and Cardiologist supervision. You will prepare patients, gather histories, operate cardiac monitoring equipment, analyze procedure data, and communicate vital changes. The work includes heart catheterizations, angioplasties, and specialized cardiac procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients with electrodes and shave prep when necessary
Set up, calibrate, monitor, and analyze ECG and hemodynamics
Convey vital information and changes to the Cardiologist




Prepare reports analyzing recorded hemodynamics and procedure data
Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate related cardiac equipment
Requirements: Diploma in Cardiovascular Technology
Two years of recent related experience or equivalent preparation
Eligibility for CACPT registration or CCI RCIS credential
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Physical ability to perform position duties
Apply cardiovascular technology expertise to ECG monitoring, hemodynamic analysis, equipment operation, and invasive procedures at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
