Occupational Therapist I services at Viking Health Centre focus on occupational performance, comprehensive assessment, and client independence. This is a regular full-time position.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide evidence-informed services for individuals, groups, and communities. You may serve as a direct provider, consultant, educator, or advocate. The work includes rehabilitation, education, case management, and collaboration across health care teams.
Key Responsibilities: Provide triage, screening, consultation, assessment, and diagnosis
Set collaborative goals and deliver individualized treatment
Support meaningful self-care, productivity, and leisure occupations
Include clients and families throughout rehabilitation planning
Contribute to quality improvement and peer mentoring
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
Active Alberta College of Occupational Therapists registration
Current Basic Life Support certification
Driver's license and vehicle required
