Waterloo Regional Health Network seeks a Registered Nurse for its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, approximately until October 2027. The position provides patient- and family-focused care, family education, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Candidates need neonatal ICU experience or final NICU consolidation, alongside current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification.
Key Responsibilities: Provide exemplary, patient- and family-focused neonatal care
Support neonates requiring non-invasive respiratory support
Manage short-term invasive ventilation for eligible infants




Administer enteral and parenteral nutrition safely
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary neonatal care team
Requirements: Hold a valid College of Nurses of Ontario license
Bring recent level II or III NICU experience
Maintain mandatory current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification
Complete neonatal critical care education within two years
Complete the mandatory 16-hour breastfeeding course within six months
Use neonatal assessment, critical thinking, and family education skills while supporting safe, responsive care at WRHN in Kitchener.
