Coordinate overnight transportation operations in North York using dispatch planning, driver communication, and calm problem-solving skills. Work a 2/2/3 night rotation from 7:00pm to 7:00am.
Seaboard Transport seeks a Driver Coordinator for nights to keep loads, routes, and drivers on schedule. You will coordinate schedules, manage dispatches, and serve as the main driver contact. The work requires explicit communication, organization, and attention to detail while supporting after-hours operations.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain driver schedules and consistent operational communication
Verify customer orders in TMW and schedule loads
Dispatch loads with shift, truck, and route details
Confirm deliveries, update systems, and escalate issues
Monitor safety, incidents, and performance metrics
Requirements: Post-secondary business, logistics, or related education
Two or more years in transportation or logistics
Dispatch experience is a strong asset
Knowledge of ELD systems and TMW software
Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency
Support Seaboard Transport’s night operations through organized dispatching, driver coordination, TMW updates, and timely problem-solving.
