Support vulnerable individuals and families as a Housing Social Worker with the City of Windsor, delivering intensive case management and crisis intervention.
This regular or temporary full time position serves Housing & Children’s Services in Windsor. You will create case plans, assess bio-psychosocial needs, provide clinical counselling, and connect clients with community resources. The work includes on-site and in-home support for people experiencing homelessness.
Key Responsibilities: Provide short-term and long-term intensive case management
Create and update client case plans regularly
Deliver crisis intervention and clinical counselling
Complete risk assessments and co-create safety plans
Coordinate interdisciplinary case conferences for complex needs
Requirements: Four-year university degree in Social Work
Over one year of relevant work experience
Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers
Knowledge of homelessness and housing programs
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Apply social work expertise, counselling skills, and housing knowledge to support clients through the City of Windsor.
