Apply engineering technology expertise in Owen Sound to support complex hospital building systems, equipment maintenance, and computer-based controls at Brightshores Health System.
Reporting to the Director, Facilities Management, the Engineering Technologist provides technical development and support across all Brightshores sites. The full time position focuses on building operations, maintenance, improvement, energy management, and performance. It also applies standards, codes, regulations, and technical information to policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Support operation and maintenance of complex building systems
Improve hospital equipment and building system performance
Use computer-based control and asset management systems
Research standards, codes, regulations, and technical literature




Develop policies and procedures for engineering services
Requirements: Three- or four-year engineering, building, or computer science credential
Five years’ recent complex building systems experience
Systems development, process engineering, and quality control experience
Advanced database, spreadsheet, and word processing skills
Valid driver’s licence and vehicle for site support
Support Brightshores Health System through building systems expertise, technical research, asset management, and hospital equipment improvement in Owen Sound.
