Design high-voltage transmission lines from anywhere in Canada with CIMA+, using PLS-Pole, PLS-Tower, and engineering judgment. The role is hybrid, with two office days weekly.

As a Transmission Lines Engineer, you will support CIMA+’s Energy & Resources team on major Canadian infrastructure projects. You will design overhead lines, structures, foundations, and associated facilities from 60kV to 500kV. Your work will include documentation, project controls, technical assistance, and signed engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities: Design high-voltage overhead lines and associated facilities

Design wood, steel, and latticed transmission structures

Design transmission line structure foundations

Prepare drawings, reports, specifications, estimates,



and test plans

Lead projects and support junior engineers

Requirements: University degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering

Minimum five years of transmission project experience

Skilled Engineering registration in Ontario or another Canadian province

Proficiency with design, analysis, and CAD systems

Excellent written and verbal English communication abilities
