Stoney Trail Veterinary Clinic is looking for a compassionate, dependable Veterinary Assistant to join our small team!

In a compact practice, everyone makes a difference. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day flow of the clinic, takes pride in keeping things clean and organized, and is happy to lend a hand where needed. Being kind to patients, clients, and each other matters to us—as does having a sense of humour along the way.

What you’ll do

- Assist our Veterinarians and RVTs with appointments, patient handling, treatments, and procedures.
- Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, work areas, and common spaces clean, stocked, and ready for use.
- Help with laundry, instrument cleaning, and surgery preparation and cleanup.
- Assist with unpacking deliveries, restocking supplies, and general inventory organization.
- Welcome clients and take on reception duties as needed.
- Communicate with teammates, ask questions, and help keep the day running smoothly.

What you’ll bring

- The ability to adapt when priorities change and stay calm during busy moments.




- Vet clinic experience or completion of a Veterinary Assistant program is an asset.
- A willingness to pitch in with all parts of clinic life, including the less glamorous ones!

What we offer
