Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse distribution and order fulfillment operations. This hands-on role involves receiving, storing, picking, packaging, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining an organized and safe work area. The position may involve operating warehouse equipment and working with a warehouse management system.

Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming materials; assist with shipping and receiving tasks.
- Pick and verify orders, package products, and prepare shipments for dispatch.
- Load and unload materials, using appropriate equipment and safe handling practices.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, or cranes when trained and authorized.
- Use a warehouse management system, including AS400 where applicable, to track inventory and update order information.
- Help maintain accurate inventory and organized storage locations.
- Follow safety procedures when handling heavy loads or operating heavy equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and orderly, and report equipment or inventory issues to a supervisor.
- Support warehouse, manufacturing,



or distribution activities as business needs require.

Qualifications

- Previous warehouse experience, particularly in warehouse distribution, order picking, or order fulfillment, is preferred.
- Experience with shipping and receiving, packaging, and loading or unloading is an asset.
- Familiarity with a warehouse management system or AS400 is helpful.
- Experience operating a forklift, reach truck, order picker, crane, or other heavy equipment is an advantage; required authorization or certification may apply.
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to follow equipment instructions are beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and remain active throughout the workday while following safe material-handling practices.
- Manufacturing or construction experience is helpful but not required.
- Dependability, attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety are essential.

Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 – 40.0 per week
