**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description**
The General Production Worker supports warehouse and manufacturing operations by performing a variety of material handling, shipping, receiving, and production support tasks.

This role focuses on loading and unloading trucks, palletizing and staging materials, and ensuring a smooth flow of goods to and from production lines while following established safety and operating procedures.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform general warehouse duties including loading and unloading trucks, palletizing, staging, and moving materials throughout the facility.
+ Assist in shipping and receiving operations by handling inbound and outbound materials and ensuring proper documentation and accurate processing.
+ Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production and outbound shipments according to standard operating procedures.
+ Support inventory management through cycle counts and stock replenishment to maintain accurate inventory levels.
+ Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines, including the proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
+ Assist with material movement to and from production lines to support a continuous and efficient manufacturing flow.
+ Operate as a general labor resource within production and warehouse areas, performing tasks such as packing, assembly, and general production work as needed.
+ Handle materials safely and efficiently, including lifting items weighing 40 pounds or more as required.
+ Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production and shipping schedules.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments performing general labor, production, packing, or material handling tasks.
+ Ability to work 12-hour continental shifts consistently.
+ Ability to work effectively in a hot environment that is not climate controlled.
+ Ability to safely lift 40 pounds or more on a regular basis.
+ Reliable transportation to commute to and from the worksite.
+ Comfort working in general production, assembly, and material handling roles.
+ Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines, including PPE requirements.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Forklift experience is an asset, with the opportunity to receive forklift training while working as a general laborer.
+ Previous experience working in hot, non-climate-controlled environments.
+ Experience working 12-hour continental shifts.
+ Willingness to move between facilities based on operational needs.
+ Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

**Work Environment**
This role is based in a warehouse and manufacturing setting with 12-hour continental shifts.

Typical day shifts run from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and some locations also operate night shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with the expectation of being open to both day and night schedules.

Overtime shifts are regularly available, providing opportunities to increase earnings.

The work takes place in facilities that can be hot and are not climate controlled, requiring comfort in warm conditions and adherence to all safety and PPE requirements.

You may start at one warehouse location for the first 13 weeks and then transition to another facility as needed, working in a fast-paced environment focused on continuous production and efficient material flow.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.60 - $18.60/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
