**Job Title: General Production Worker**

**Job Description**

This role involves operating straightforward, repetitive production processes in an automotive manufacturing environment, working with stainless steel tubing used in bus frames, exhaust systems, air bags, and other tubing applications.

Depending on the assignment, you will perform single-process operations as a general labourer or multiple-process operations as a bend cell operator, ensuring parts meet quality standards and production targets.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform single-process operations on stainless steel tubing as a general labourer, such as loading tubes into deburring machines, perforators, or other dedicated process equipment.
+ Operate bend cell machinery, including loading tubes into the cell so the robotic arm can bend them to the specified shape.
+ Handle post-bending processes for tubing, which may include cutting, deburring, and washing parts after they come down the chute from the bend cell.
+ Follow standardized work instructions and production procedures to ensure consistent output and adherence to quality requirements.
+ Use basic quality and measurement tools to inspect parts, verify dimensions, and confirm that tubing meets specified tolerances.

**Essential Skills**

+ At least 1 year of manufacturing experience, including use of basic quality or measurement tools.
+ Consistent work history, typically remaining in each role for a minimum of one year with clear reasons for job changes.
+ Hands-on experience as a machine operator or general labourer in a production environment.
+ Experience in automotive manufacturing or metal manufacturing.
+ Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and product quality.

There are straight afternoon and night shifts available

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WATERLOO, ON.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity,



and other pertinent job-related factors.
