Role Type: Wordpress Engineer

Required Qualifications

5-8 years of relevant professional experience is required, including production ownership of enterprise content management or web platforms.

Solid hands-on experience administering and upgrading WordPress core, plugins, themes, and templates at scale.

Proficiency in PHP, WordPress APIs and hooks, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, and modern development practices.

Demonstrated experience creating secure, maintainable custom plugins and themes, with automated testing and code review.

Practical experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) repositories and pipelines for source control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.

Experience authoring or maintaining GitHub Actions workflows for build, validation, and deployment automation.





Hands-on administration of MySQL or MariaDB, including installation, configuration, upgrades, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Working knowledge of Linux, Apache, or Nginx, command-line tools, web security, TLS, caching, logging, and monitoring.

Experience managing production changes through branching strategies, pull requests, approvals, environment promotion, rollback, and audit controls.

Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
