Plan ship testing and completions in Halifax using job packages, schedules, and production coordination. This full time position requires in-office presence.

At Irving Shipbuilding, Test and Completions Planners support ship delivery through coordinated planning and production execution. The work includes completions outfit planning, tank and hydro segment testing, subcontractor integration planning, and Test and Trials scheduling. You will interpret contract documentation, bills of materials, drawings, and 3D models to understand scope, budget, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop job packages and schedules for production execution
- Represent activity sequencing and resources accurately in Primavera P6
- Report material discrepancies to Scheduling, Programs, and Supply Chain




- Support Planning, Production, and Test and Trials teams
- Facilitate Pre-Build and In Build reviews

Requirements:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline
- Two to four years of planning or trade experience
- Ability to interpret trade-related drawings
- Primavera P6, Excel, Aveva, or AutoCAD experience considered an asset
- Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods and security requirements
