About the Chance

As a Senior Credit Solutions Associate, Commercial Banking , you will provide credit support to Senior Credit Solutions Managers (SCSMs) throughout the credit adjudication process within Commercial Distribution. You will contribute to the profitable growth and credit quality of the portfolio by preparing, analyzing, and monitoring credit applications and supporting more complex Core clients.

This role is designed to provide meaningful exposure to larger and more complex credit deals while building the knowledge and experience needed to progress toward a Senior Credit Solutions Manager role. You will support approximately 2-3 SCSMs in the region and work closely with internal partners and, as needed, clients and external professionals.

How You Will Make an Impact:

- Support SCSMs with financial statement spreading, credit summaries, projections, borrowing bases, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
- Assess the financial health, creditworthiness, and risk profile of borrowers and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Prepare credit presentations, approval packages, reports, and recommendations for larger and more complex Core client relationships.
- Review portfolio results, identify signs of deterioration, elevate concerns appropriately, and ensure relevant systems are kept current.
- Maintain complete and accurate client files and documentation across applicable credit and tracking systems.
- Partner with Senior Relationship Managers and SCSMs to understand client needs and help develop tailored credit solutions.
- Engage with clients as needed to gather information and support credit-related activities.
- Participate in deal forums and support engagement with Global Risk Management where appropriate.
- Collaborate with partners including the Business Service Center, Enhanced Due Diligence Unit, CRA, Global Banking and Markets, Global Risk Management, and the Commercial Banking Executive Office.
