**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description**
This role involves manual picking and packing of materials in a clean, spacious warehouse environment.

You will accurately pick products for customer orders based on prioritized pick lists, prepare outbound shipments, and support inventory control through end-of-shift floor audits.

You will also receive incoming products, verify paperwork, ensure quality packaging standards are met, and confirm quantities received, while using basic computer skills to update and track information.

**Responsibilities**

+ Manually pick materials for customer orders in accordance with assigned priorities identified by provided pick lists.
+ Pack products securely and accurately to meet customer and quality requirements.
+ Ensure outbound shipments are released in accordance with the pick list and related documentation.
+ Conduct a floor audit at the end of each shift to identify any unmarked product and report or resolve inventory issues.
+ Receive incoming products and verify that paperwork reflects required quality packaging standards from suppliers.
+ Confirm quantities received against documentation and report discrepancies as needed.
+ Use basic computer skills to input, update, and track inventory and shipment information.
+ Handle materials safely using equipment such as pallet jacks and, where applicable, forklifts.
+ Maintain a strong sense of urgency to meet daily operational timelines and customer expectations.
+ Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining clear communication with team members and other associates.
+ Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating excellent teamwork and supporting colleagues as needed.
+ Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
+ Label products and shipments accurately to support proper identification and tracking.
+ Assist with general labor tasks in the warehouse as required.

**Essential Skills**

+ 12+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
+ Demonstrated experience with picking, packing, order picking, labeling, shipping, and general labor tasks.
+ Basic computer skills for data entry and tracking orders and inventory.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
+ Ability to work independently with little supervision while maintaining excellent communication with all associates.
+ Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a warehouse setting.
+ Ability to read and write in English.
+ Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks within required timeframes.
+ High level of attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and inventory.
+ Experience with material handling and pallet jack operation.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience operating a forklift is an asset.
+ Experience with dockstocker or reverse steering forklifts is considered an advantage.
+ SAP experience or familiarity with SAP systems is preferred.




+ Demonstrated ability to follow documented procedures and quality standards.
+ Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role follows a daytime shift schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., providing consistent hours each week.

The warehouse operates with manual picking and packing processes rather than RF scanners, and uses equipment such as pallet jacks and, where applicable, forklifts and dockstockers.

The facility is bus accessible, supports a collaborative team atmosphere, and maintains organized, safety-conscious operations.

Typical warehouse attire is expected, suitable for material handling and manual labor in a clean, modern environment.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, ON.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
