Operate Hydro Lyft equipment in Grande Prairie while applying fluid systems knowledge and pressure pumping experience. Weatherford is recruiting self-driven field operators for Canada’s expanding Hydro Lyft service line.
This Pressure Pumping Operator supports jobs for large operators through equipment operation, fluid monitoring, and chemical handling. The work requires understanding wellbore dynamics, pressures, and coil tubing operations. Candidates from Grande Prairie, Edmonton, Whitecourt, and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and secure chemistry totes for assigned jobs
- Perform equipment rig-up and rig-out according to layouts
- Operate, observe, maintain, and repair equipment as required
- Monitor fluid properties and adjust chemicals for proper rheology
- Manage the Fluid Technician and verify duties are performed correctly
Requirements:
- Three or more years of previous oilfield experience
- Experience with Coil Tubing, Pumping Units, or Service Rigs preferred
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Advanced fluid systems and coil tubing operations knowledge
- Forklift certification or experience is an advantage
