This manager position leads recreation staff and volunteers in a senior care setting. You will plan meaningful activities, encourage participation, and improve residents’ quality of life. The work requires program planning, documentation, evaluation, budget management, and collaboration with families and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, manage, and motivate recreation staff and volunteers
- Develop and implement resident programs and activities
- Achieve resident and family satisfaction targets
- Maintain budgets and monitor departmental expenditures
- Promote community engagement through volunteers and partners

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in Recreation or Therapeutic Recreation
- Minimum one year of health care experience
- Two years’ senior care program planning experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Search completed within six months
