As an Applications Engineer, you will formulate engineered estimates and budgets for new and existing clients. You will interpret blueprints, specifications, and scope documents while estimating labor, materials, and equipment. The work covers alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intrusion, intercom, PSIM, PLC, and structured cabling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze blueprints, specifications, addendums, and scope documentation
- Prepare labor, material, equipment, and installation cost estimates
- Conduct take-offs and identify value-engineering alternatives
- Develop bid proposals, clarifications, exclusions,



and compliance documentation
- Coordinate handoffs with sales, project management, vendors, and subcontractors

Requirements:

- Minimum five years estimating fire alarm or security systems
- Ability to interpret detailed construction drawings and scope documents
- Solid understanding of NFPA, NEC, and building codes
- Experience with major security and fire alarm manufacturers
- NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level III or higher preferred
