Lead AI engineering for Definity’s P&C; insurance business, combining Python mastery with scalable machine learning and responsible AI expertise. Work in a flexible hybrid experience.

As AI Engineering Lead, you will serve as a technical authority and strategic leader. Architect AI and data platforms, guide engineers and data scientists, and set technical direction across underwriting, pricing, claims, and customer experience. Build production-grade applications using LLMs, graph neural networks, computer vision, RAG pipelines, and agent-based workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define long-term technical strategy for AI-driven business solutions
- Lead scalable, real-time AI system architecture and development
- Own fraud prevention data, modeling, and production workflows




- Mentor AI engineers and data scientists through complex projects
- Align AI initiatives with leadership, underwriting, and claims teams

Requirements:

- Mastery of Python and experience with Java, SQL, and Spark
- Hands-on experience deploying AI applications, RAG, and agent workflows
- Cloud architecture experience with Google Cloud or AWS
- Experience with A2A, MCP, Agentic RAG, and microservices
- Eight-plus technology years and three-plus fraud production years
