Support antenatal, labour, birth, postpartum, and newborn patients as a Registered Nurse in the North Bay Regional Health Centre Birthing Unit. Apply clinical judgment, communication, and maternity expertise.

This Registered Nurse role requires recent maternity nursing experience and specialized certifications. You will provide total patient care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, regional services, and community partners. Family centered maternity care is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide care across antenatal, labour, birth, and postpartum settings
- Care for newborn patients within the Birthing Unit
- Provide health teaching to individuals and groups
- Assume leadership within the team-oriented health team




- Support safety and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

- Current Ontario nursing registration in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support certificate for healthcare providers
- Two to three years recent maternity nursing experience
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification and required specialty certifications
- Advanced English and French bilingualism required; unilingual applicants encouraged
