Analyze supplier quotations and material costs as an Estimator at DRS Pivotal Power in Kanata, Ontario. Support accurate, competitive bids.

Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain, this Estimator supports pricing for proposals and ongoing business needs. You will assess vendor quotes, lead times, terms, and commercial factors. The position works with Business Development, Procurement, Engineering, Program Management, and Finance to validate assumptions and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Obtain vendor quotations for proposal materials and components
- Analyze supplier pricing, lead times, terms, and value
- Evaluate material costs for bids and proposals
- Present pricing recommendations supporting competitive bids
- Maintain supplier quote history and pricing documentation

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in a related field preferred
- Two to four years in estimating, procurement, or pricing
- Experience obtaining and evaluating vendor quotations
- Solid analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Microsoft Excel proficiency; ERP or MRP experience is an asset
