Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a diverse range of mining engineering roles, including but not limited to geological engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers within the sector.
- Develop and implement sophisticated sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates with niche skills and extensive experience in mining operations.
- Conduct in-depth candidate assessments, technical screenings, and cultural fit evaluations.
- Build and maintain robust, trusted relationships with key stakeholders and hiring managers within mining and resource companies.
- Cultivate and manage a high-quality talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
- Provide expert market intelligence, insights on compensation, and talent availability to clients.
- Ensure an outstanding candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment journey.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technological advancements,



and regulatory changes impacting the mining sector.
- Utilize advanced recruitment technologies, ATS, and professional networking platforms to maximize reach and efficiency.
- Drive diversity and inclusion within candidate slates and hiring practices.

Requirements

- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a proven specialization in the Mining and Resources Engineering sector.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting for senior-level and highly technical roles within mining operations, exploration, and processing.
- In-depth knowledge of mining processes, equipment, and relevant engineering disciplines.
- Proficiency with advanced sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, specialized mining job boards, professional associations) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Exceptional interviewing, assessment, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a strong capacity for remote collaboration.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex requisitions simultaneously and deliver results in a remote setting.
