Monitor cybersecurity alerts onsite in Calgary as a Tier 1 SOC Analyst using SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and cloud security platforms.
CYBERWELL seeks an early-career cybersecurity skilled for its Cybersecurity Operations Centre. You will support threat detection and initial incident investigation across client environments. The work includes Microsoft Sentinel, Cortex XSOAR, network security platforms, and regulated clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts across multiple platforms
- Analyze logs, endpoint telemetry, and threat intelligence
- Identify suspicious activity and indicators of compromise
- Prioritize alerts and escalate potential incidents appropriately
- Document findings, evidence, actions, and incident updates
Requirements:
- One to two years of relevant technical experience
- Foundational cybersecurity and incident investigation knowledge
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms or log investigation
- Exposure to EDR/XDR, network, or cloud security technologies
- Ability to work onsite in Calgary and coverage shifts
