Safety-focused Rail Car Loading Operators inspect equipment, load refined products, and complete documentation at Gibson’s Moose Jaw Refinery. This full time permanent role is safety sensitive.

Reporting to the Operations Shift Supervisor, the Rail Car Loader prepares rail cars for loading and release to CP Rail. The developmental role supports an Operations career through required training competency programs. Duties include inspections, product loading, equipment upkeep, TDG paperwork, and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect rail cars, valves, fittings, ladders, and caps
- Load designated refined products following written procedures
- Complete checklists, placards, and TDG shipping paperwork




- Monitor equipment and maintain rail load-out facilities
- Report hazards, spills, incidents, and quality issues

Requirements:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Fourth Class Power Engineering certificate preferred
- One or more years’ refinery or rail experience preferred
- Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel proficiency
- Availability for scheduled hours and on-call emergency response

Build Operations experience at Gibson through rail car inspection, refined product loading, compliance documentation, and safety-sensitive fieldwork.
