Track Wasaya Airways flights from Thunder Bay using aviation software, air-to-ground radios, and Skytrac satellite tracking systems. Support daily operations.
Reporting to SOCC Duty Managers, the Flight Follower monitors aircraft progress and flight crew scheduling throughout each day. This position maintains accurate operational records, reviews dispatch clearances, and communicates changes affecting flights. It also supports irregular operations, weather monitoring, and crew coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor flights from origin through destination and intermediate stops
- Record scheduled, estimated, and actual flight times
- Update crew schedules for operational changes and illegalities
- Investigate delays exceeding thirty minutes and communicate IROPs
- Coordinate recovery plans and required operational support
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent computer, internet, email, and MS Office skills
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Solid attention to detail and problem resolution skills
- Availability for occasional travel, evenings, and weekends
