Deliver comprehensive surgical nursing care at Brant Community Healthcare System in Brantford or Paris, Ontario. Use assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the Registered Practical Nurse supports the surgical program. The position requires accredited nursing education, Ontario registration, BCLS certification, and patient-focused practice. Recent medical or surgical, complex care, or emergency experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive nursing care within the surgical program
- Assess patients and contribute to individualized care planning
- Collaborate independently and with interprofessional team members
- Identify, report, and mitigate unsafe acts or conditions
- Deliver exceptional service to patients, families, and partners

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited college nursing program
- Registered in positive standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Recent medical or surgical nursing experience preferred
- Critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
