As a Network Specialist, you will configure and manage networks, perimeter devices, and associated equipment. You will support reliable, secure information technology services across the City. The work includes LAN, WAN, wireless networks, firewalls, monitoring appliances, and connected systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, maintain, and support network systems and infrastructure
- Manage LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
- Monitor performance, logs, and security tools
- Troubleshoot complex network and communications issues
- Guide support technicians and provide staff assistance

Requirements:

- Community college diploma in Microcomputers and Systems or Information Systems
- Aruba and Fortinet courses and certifications
- Two and one-half to five years of network experience
- Experience with firewalls, routing, filtering, and monitoring
- Valid Class G driver’s license and acceptable driving record
