Lead community engagement for Metrolinx projects across Peel Region, using stakeholder relations and communications expertise. This is an 18-month contract assignment.

The Senior Advisor, Strategic Engagement supports outreach for LRT and GO Expansion projects in the 905 West regions. You will develop communications materials, manage special projects, and build strategic relationships with businesses, nonprofits, schools, advocacy groups, and the public. The work also includes project coordination, presentations, dashboards, and advice on sensitive issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop outreach strategies promoting LRT and GO Expansion projects
- Manage community tours, job fairs, consultations, and social initiatives
- Build relationships with external stakeholders and internal teams
- Prepare engagement content,



presentations, dashboards, and reports
- Advise on local issues, risks, processes, and strategic options

Requirements:

- Degree in Communications, Public Administration, or related discipline
- Experience developing communications materials and managing special projects
- Ability to manage stakeholders with competing interests
- Knowledge of communications and public relations principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
