Prepare accurate construction estimates for interior fit-outs and new builds in the Greater Edmonton Area, using strong analytical and communication skills.
This Estimator supports the ICI Construction division of a leading construction and development firm. The position requires experience interpreting drawings, specifications, and project requirements. It also involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for interior fit-outs and new builds
- Calculate material, labor, and subcontractor costs accurately
- Analyze bid documents, drawings, and project specifications
- Refine project scopes and budgets with stakeholders
- Support bidding and attend pre-construction meetings
Requirements:
- Five-plus years of construction estimating experience
- Experience estimating new build projects from start to finish
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Robust interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or related field
