About the role

As the Automotive Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department. You'll be responsible for managing a talented team of technicians and advisors while ensuring a smooth, efficient, and customer-centered experience. Your leadership will play a key role in meeting business goals, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering a fun, accountable workplace culture.

Responsibilities

- Lead and motivate service staff, including technicians, advisors, and support staff
- Oversee scheduling, workflow, and service operations to ensure timely repairs and maintenance
- Monitor KPIs and drive profitability,



efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care
- Recruit, train, and develop team members
- Ensure all safety, environmental, and OEM standards are met
- Collaborate with parts and sales departments to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Maintain a high level of dealership standards and customer service excellence

Requirements

- Proven experience in a leadership role in an automotive service department (Nissan or import brands a plus)
- Strong technical knowledge and a customer-first mindset
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Red Seal certification or equivalent experience is an asset
