Design industrial HVAC systems with Revit and AutoCAD at JNE Consulting’s Hamilton office, supporting steel, mining, and heavy industrial projects. Hybrid work opportunities are available.

This intermediate mechanical engineering position supports JNE’s Building Mechanical team. You will design HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, natural gas, and other building mechanical systems for industrial facilities. The work also includes calculations, equipment selection, multidisciplinary coordination, and occasional piping engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design industrial HVAC and building mechanical systems
- Perform load, ventilation, duct, hydronic, and plumbing calculations
- Develop layouts, schematics, equipment arrangements, and design criteria




- Coordinate mechanical systems with other engineering disciplines
- Review drawings, models, documentation, and technical calculations

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
- Approximately four to six years of relevant experience
- Ontario Qualified Engineer license or licensure eligibility
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with HVAC design and HAP or similar software
