Lead resident care services at AgeCare Dawson in Chestermere, using clinical judgment and nursing leadership to support long-term care residents.

The Resident Care Manager reports to the Director of Care and manages resident care services within the residence. This temporary full time position oversees assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation aligned with provincial standards and regulations. The manager supports resident-centered care, staff performance, and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage resident care services across the long-term care residence
- Recruit, orient, and support qualified care team members
- Oversee resident move-in assessments and care conferences
- Ensure resident-centered care plans and medication processes




- Assume department operations when the Director of Care is absent

Requirements:

- At least five years of progressive clinical nursing experience
- At least five years of leadership experience
- Knowledge of applicable provincial legislation and standards
- Experience caring for residents with dementia
- Current provincial registration and Basic Life Support certification
