We are looking to add an outgoing, friendly, and hard working individual to our retail team.

A Retail Hardware Sales Associate plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting the daily operations of a hardware store. This position requires strong product knowledge, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The associate assists customers in finding appropriate hardware products, answers questions, processes transactions, and helps maintain a clean and organized sales floor.

Key Responsibilities of this position are:

· Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner as they enter the store.

· Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers regarding hardware supplies, tools, and home improvement products.

· Understand product features, uses, and safety considerations to make appropriate recommendations.

· Answer customer questions, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction with purchases.

· Restock shelves, organize displays, and help keep the sales floor clean and presentable.

· Operate cash registers,



process sales transactions, and handle returns or exchanges according to store policy.

· Assist with inventory control, including receiving shipments and conducting stock checks.

· Monitor and report low stock or out-of-stock items to management.

· Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.

· Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.

Candidates must have good attention to detail, be comfortable working with computers and be be able tolerate standing/walking for 7+ hours per day, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Hourly wage will be based on qualifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience:
