We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team!

This is a Full-time position and permanent position that will be based out of our Surrey location. The candidate must have a flexible working schedule covering the Pharmacy's business hours. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, patient-centred clinic supporting Family Medicine, Executive Health, and Concierge Health programs. In addition to performing Pharmacy Assistant duties, you will play an important role in delivering a seamless patient experience while collaborating closely with physicians and allied health professionals.

Successful candidates who progress beyond the interview stage will be required to complete an in-person trial shift. This trial is designed to assess practical working experience, familiarity with Kroll, and proficiency in standard pharmacy assistant tasks.

What You'll Do

- Customer Care, like answering calls, attending to customer needs, etc.
- Process, prepare, and compound prescriptions
- Maintain prescription and inventory record-keeping systems using Kroll
- Maintain proper drug storage and security
- Prepare and settle third-party insurance claims and records
- Other pharmacy assistant duties as per pharmacist requirements

Qualifications





- Previous experience with Kroll and compounding would be considered a strong asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or working in a Pharmacy setting
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and Google Suite applications
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Skilled, reliable, and committed to maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced pharmacy environment

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
