As a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, you will support the Mobile Maintenance team at the Labrador City mine. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and document work across a diverse heavy equipment fleet. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will apply safety standards, environmental requirements, and clear maintenance practices in a safety-critical industrial workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment within planned time frames
- Apply Rio Tinto safety standards and environmental requirements
- Participate in safety meetings and incident investigations




- Maintain organized work areas and address workplace hazards
- Prepare accurate maintenance reports and equipment records

Requirements:

- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician trade qualification
- Valid Class 5 provincial driver’s licence
- Experience repairing heavy mobile equipment in safety-critical environments
- Clear maintenance records and repair-status communication skills
- Commitment to personal and team safety
