Build trading and exposure analysis skills as a UPP Intern Analyst in downtown Toronto, using Python, SQL, and Excel VBA. Work hybrid, with at least two office days weekly.

This four-month internship runs from May 2027 through August 2027 within UPP’s Trading, Liquidity and Exposure Management team. You will support trading products, best execution practices, and projects across multiple asset classes. The work focuses on trade generation, exposure monitoring, and analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze derivative exposures and monitor equity futures transactions
- Assist with foreign exchange trading activities
- Build portfolio tools for fixed income securities and repos
- Support trading execution and related activities




- Develop automated workflows, databases, applications, and reports

Requirements:

- Pursuing undergraduate or related master’s degree
- Study business, finance, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related field
- Basic finance knowledge and keen interest
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel VBA
- Robust quantitative, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
