As Senior Consultant, Employee and Labour Relations, you will advise the Mount Royal Faculty Association and Mount Royal Staff Association. You will partner with Human Resources, Academic Affairs, faculties, and departments on investigations, grievances, performance management, and workplace conflict. The role supports bargaining mandates, negotiations, implementation, training, and change management across a multi-union environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise on collective agreements, labour law, and employment legislation
- Guide complex investigations, grievances, and performance management matters
- Develop bargaining mandates and support negotiations through implementation




- Lead training sessions for campus leaders and internal teams
- Monitor labour relations trends and recommend sustainable solutions

Requirements:

- University degree in human resources, industrial relations, law, business, or related field
- Three to six years’ senior generalist experience in unionized human resources
- Experience assessing and managing employee claims and investigations
- Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards and Human Rights legislation
- Solid facilitation, analytical, project management, and relationship management skills
