Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S)

Cambridge Mitsubishi is looking for a hardworking and experienced Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S) to join our family-owned and operated dealership.

This is a flat-rate position suited to a dependable technician who can confidently diagnose and repair vehicles while working independently and collaborating with the rest of our service team.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns using computerized diagnostic equipment
- Inspect and test vehicle systems to identify required repairs
- Perform maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid services, tune-ups and tire rotations
- Repair or replace components such as brakes, wheel bearings, steering and suspension parts
- Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicle components
- Confirm that completed repairs are safe and effective
- Follow manufacturer procedures, inspection checklists and dealership standards
- Document all findings, recommendations and completed repairs accurately
- Communicate vehicle concerns and repair information clearly




- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
- Work effectively with service advisors, parts staff and fellow technicians

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician licence
- Minimum five years of automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and solid teamwork skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence
- Personal set of automotive tools
