*Job Summary*

Family physician / storyteller in Toronto is looking to hire an author assistant to help him with a various writing project.

*Duties*

- podcast editing, podcast promotion

- proofreading and editing of writing

- plan and implement social media and marketing strategies to promote various writing materials

- Maintaining author website, blog & newsletter

- administrative tasks related to preparing manuscript for publication

*Qualifications*

- University degree with strong English skills especially creative writing.

- Positive knowledge of application of digital media and publishing industry a bonus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

Benefits:

- French not required

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-08-01
