Overview

We are excited to announce the opening of a new pharmacy scheduled for December 2026, and we are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will ensure the safe and effective medication management for diverse patient populations, including pediatrics. Responsibilities

- Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and pharmacy protocols
- Provide expert consultation to healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication therapies
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety procedures related to medication handling and administration
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and review medication plans, especially in acute care and hospital environments
- Monitor patient responses to medications, adjusting therapy as needed in coordination with healthcare teams
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of prescriptions, patient records, and medication inventories
- Educate patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and storage instructions
- Stay current with new pharmaceutical developments, guidelines, and best practices in patient care

Requirements

- Valid pharmacist license in good standing with applicable state boards
- Prior experience in hospital or acute care settings highly preferred
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy

Pay: $80.00-$90.00 per hour
